Overview

VOLTTRON 2017 is a two-day technical meeting in San Francisco. The first day of the meeting will be of general interest to the user community; the second day of the meeting will focus on the VOLTTRON developer community.

What's VOLTTRON?

VOLTTRONTM is an open source control and coordination platform that DOE is developing as a common platform for distributed control. VOLTTRON enables developers to quickly build secure applications and agents that can unlock more value from building devices through the delivery of end-use services, grid services, and energy market services.

The source code for VOLTTRON has been released to the public and is available at github.com, along with a quick start page, documentation, and the VOLTTRON user guide.
